Solea Valley Healing resort, on the island of Cyprus, introduces a holistic healing experience, including apitherapy, education and dietitians, personal trainers and therapists. With a design based on sustainable solutions and integration of the surrounding nature, the resort leads the way for the future of the hospitality.
Today’s hectic world drives people to reconnect with themselves and the environment and take care of their minds and bodies. Wellbeing elements are weaved throughout the entire stay at Solea. We want to offer our guests more than a vacation, a life-changing healing experience.
The site is currently a beekeeping and honey farm, which will continue being integral parts of the location. Guests can learn about the surrounding ecosystem and beekeeping or try apitherapy. In addition to the healing spa, the resort has a restaurant, floating pools, sauna and extensive outdoor facilities.
The goal is to minimize the impact on the environment by integrating the resort seamlessly with the surroundings. We want to set an example of how nature can be incorporated in the design. Beyond preserving, we aim to restore and enhance the biodiversity as much as possible. We value designing with respect to people and the environment. Sustainability should cover the whole life cycle of a resort.
People want to have enjoyable authentic experiences without harming the environment. At Solea, guests can explore the surrounding nature by studying beekeeping and permaculture, or by planting a tree. We believe that wellbeing comes from the opportunity to not only focus and develop oneself, but also to contribute to the wellbeing of the surrounding nature and community.
