Syksyllä 2016 tontinluovutuskilpailulla alkanut hanke etenee, ja nyt tehdään kovalla vauhdilla hankkeen konseptisuunnittelua yhteistyössä Sweco ympäristön ja Nordic Marketing Oy:n kanssa. Alue on luonnonkaunis joenranta aivan suomen vanhimman kivisillan kupeessa. Resortin majoitusyksiköt tulevat rakentumaan pienelle, rehevälle saarelle ja ravintola- ja hotellirakennus rakentuu mantereen puolelle. Puusilta yhdistää alueet. Aluetta leimaa virtaava, paikoittain kuohuva joki ja tulvimisen takia syvän vihreäksi rehevöitynyt kasvillisuus.
Kestävät ja perinteitä kunnioittavat lähtökohdat alkavat hahmottumaan ja kiteytymään. Alkuvaiheessa käymme läpi eri asiakkaiden kokemuspolkuja löytääksemme tiloille, tilasarjoille ja alueille ne juuri oikeat luonteet ja tunnelmat halutun kokemuksen saavuttamiseksi.
Suunnittelu tehdään pääosin syksyn 2017 aikana ja alueen ensimmäiset rakennukset valmistunee jo kesäkaudeksi 2018. Tervetuloa ensi kesänä kokemaan Joen Lumo![:en]
The project was launched in the autumn 2016 with an architecture competition and is now proceeding with a rapid project concept design phase in collaboration with Sweco Environment and Nordic Marketing Oy. The area is a scenic riverbank right next to the oldest stone bridge in Finland. Resort’s accommodation units will be built on a small, lush island, and the restaurant and hotel building will be built on the mainland. A wooden bridge will combine these areas. The area is characterized by roaring river and deep green eutrophic vegetation that has arisen as a result of flooding.
Sustainable and tradition-based starting points have begun to perceive and crystallize. In the initial stages we explore the experience paths of different customers to be able to find the right kind of character for series of spaces and places to achieve the desired experience.
The planning will be done mainly during autumn 2017 and the first buildings in the area will be ready already for summer season 2018. Welcome to experience the River’s Enchantment next summer![:]
