We are delighted to see two Studio Puisto projects, Arctic TreeHouse Hotel and Aino Resort, featured in Sibylle Kramer’s Where Architects Stay Around the World – Lodging for Design Enthusiasts.
Published by Braun, the book brings together exceptional places to stay from across the globe, exploring the connection between architecture and travel. The collection celebrates destinations where design plays a defining role in the experience, from secluded retreats immersed in nature to distinctive urban hideaways.
Both Arctic TreeHouse Hotel and Aino Resort reflect an approach close to our own: architecture that grows from its surroundings and creates a meaningful connection between people, place and landscape. Arctic TreeHouse Hotel is also highlighted on the book’s back cover, where its simplicity, atmosphere, carefully framed views and close relationship with the Arctic landscape are brought into focus.
We are honoured to see two of our projects included among inspiring destinations from around the world, and to see Finnish hospitality architecture represented on its pages.
