A new summer stage for Helsinki’s historic Kauppatori

Next week, our wooden pavilion for the historic Helsinki Kauppatori, or market square, will be unveiled in celebration of Helsinki Day, June 12th. Located right at the water’s edge, our design is inspired by the Helsinki archipelago and will serve as a stage for many performances and free-form events all summer long. To read more about the project, a brief write-up by Torikorttelit can be found here.

If you are in Helsinki over the summer, we warmly welcome you to use the stage and share your photos with us using the hashtags studiopuisto or kauppatorinkesä.

Done in collaboration with Raiviobumann and Protos Demos.
