Tapulinmäki area plan started out from a workshop where the future of Tapulinmäki was planned together with the customer. Based on the ideas born in workshop, we went on to further develop the Tapulinmäki plan, which consists of four parts:

Harjunkulma is a split-level hybrid building that climbs towards the ridge and delimits the public square to the street level and the starting point for public stairs.

Lakeshore Studios are residential and accommodation units with nice views of Lake Ukki. Lakeshore Studios are growing upwards from the delicate ridge edge to the surrounding nature.

Courtyard houses are located on a steep slope in close proximity to existing buildings. The yard houses are bordered in two clear areas: the museum yard and the more homey back yard.

Tapuli-houses, three white residential blocks, are placed on a narrow area between Tapulintie and Kangasalantie. White plastered residential buildings are engaging in a delicate dialogue with the old stone wall of an old medieval church.

Old and valuable trees of the ridge area have been preserved in the plan as much as possible.
